Watching with fascination as,
new snowflakes drift softly down upon the ground.
There clearly before my eyes,
the sheer wonder of winter's season can be found.

Appreciating within the silence,
of another quiet and serene winter wonderland night.
Releasing any troubling thoughts,
allowing my imagination to leave on a dreamy flight.

Soaring in skies overhead,
while angels wings carry me safely with gentle care.
Looking down on the valley,
enjoying the visions created on the lands everywhere.

Moonlight shining so lightly,
causing snow stars anyone's eyes will be able to see.
Snow reflecting and twinkling,
like the stars overhead, another phenomenal mystery.

Children are happily playing,
as friends find a hiding place behind the nearest tree.
Right there for little hands,
snow forms in a snowball to toss with a delightful glee.

Fireplaces are soon aglow,
bringing warmth to anyone inside on this winter day.
Families are visiting together,
enjoying the white winter wonderland during it's stay.

Then sooner than planned,
I had to leave my magical flight on a cool winters night.
Feelings of happiness inside,
aware the snow will still be here at mornings first light.

Do people ever contemplate,
who created every living thing found here on our earth.
Things of tremendous beauty,
which have been here and we can't measure their worth.

Oceans, trees and mountains,
created, in the beginning, with our Savior's own hands.
Every animal and human to follow,
and maybe someday people will really try to understand.
