I like to sit in my favorite spot at my favourite time
of day
and see the beauty all around and enjoy it in my own way.
I shut out any noise, as if I had a lock and key,
so everything is quiet and there's just my God and me.
The flowers are like the coloured robe that Joseph used
to wear,
and it's when I see this beauty I know my troubles I can bear;
for I am never really 'alone', when all is said and done.
I know that God is with me in the day and after the sun
has set to give us rest and strength; and moon and stars will shine
and keep us under watchful eye - they are yours and they
are mine.
I like to sit in my favourite spot at my favourite time
of day
and give my prayer of thanks to God for walking with me
today.
