Open my eyes dear Father above
I want to know You more.
Teach me the things I need to know,
About the One I adore.

I want to learn more about the One,
Who walks with me each day.
The One who leads and directs me,
When to You I pray.

I want to know better the One,
Who always dries my tears.
Who has comforted and protected me
All through the years.

I have so very much to learn,
And I try hard each day.
To find time to read Your Word,
To study what You say.

I know everything I need to know,
Is written in Your Word.
Many times my heart is touched and,
It is truly stirred.

Show me the truth You have for me,
How more like You to be.
So others may see Your precious love,
That I hope reflects in me.
