If I could...
Gather all the drops of water...
in the deep ocean, blue
Every blade of grass...
upon the land, that grew

Each grain of sand...
from the warm, summer beach
Add up all the words...
we use in our speech

If I could...
Climb to the mountain top
Take every cloud passing by
Then reach even further
To collect all the stars in the sky

If I could...
Pick each apple...
that grows on every tree
Harvest all of the wheat...
as far as I could see

Every fish that swims
Every bird that flies above
And remembered all the songs...
of the mourning dove

If I could...
Gather the wild flowers...
each and every one
Then took every moon beam...
and bright rays of the sun

Counted the dew drops...
on every single flower
Talk all the minutes...
from each passing hour

Yes, all of these things collected
If this was something I could do
They still would not add up
To all of the love, I feel for you
