Memories that I have of you
I keep close within my heart.
The days of fun and laughter
From those I will not part.
I remember the sweetest days
Those I held you in my arms.
Rocking gently as you lay
Entranced by all your charms.
I wonder what life offers
For one as sweet as you.
Beauty that is yours within
Reflects in all you do.
I think about you every day
And hope you think of me.
I pray that you may become
All things you want to be.
Tuck some memories in your heart
Those that you hold dear.
And when you find one of me
Just know that I am near.
I wish for you Granddaughter
The best that life may give.
Our Father's love and blessings
Upon each day you live.
