Through life we capture miracles
We hold within our hands
We see the wonder of these gifts
As all our hearts expand

The sand that sifts within the hand
Are filled with thoughts of peace
It captures all the happiness
Within the child's release

We learn the art of love we see
With all that we discover
The beauty of this time in life
We cherish like no other

Within the soul the child is there
Through life she'll never leave
The spirit carries all the joy
Of memories to be

So gather all the shells in life
That give you pause to say
Today I touched the Heart of God
His love is here to stay

As time moves on we grow each day
We gather what we see
We keep it in a special place
That gives life harmony.
