To Granddaughter Emilia:
Miss Fidgety Fidgety Fiddledeedee
Sits on a cushion fair to see
Stands on a chair, slides down a stair
Circles around an old Sycamore tree.

Miss Fidgety Fidgety taps her toe
Shuffles through leaves, twirls through snow,
Jumps in a hole, slides down a pole
Rambles and scrambles from up to below.

Filling the air with her glad energy
Always and ever in motion is she
Graceful and light, Happy and bright,
Miss Fidgety Fidgety, Fiddledeedee.
