Have you ever watched a flower
As it blooms in the spring
From a tiny bud it blossoms
What a miracle it brings.

There is birth all around us
Just observe and you will see
The beauty that's transforming
Everywhere for you and me.

A beginning and an ending
As each of us should know
Things we take for granted
Watch in wonder as they grow.

Just as our friendship formed
We nurtured it each day
And watched it as it grew into
A one of a kind bouquet.
