When I see a beautiful painting
I know within my heart,
That someone, with given talent,
Made a wonderful work of art.
For as
long as I remember,
Never once have I had the thought
That the paint just oozed out, here and there,
And turned out like it ought.
And when
I see the sunset,
With the clouds arranged just right,
That stage set for introduction
To a splendid summer night;
I know
that Someone planned it,
Like the rainbow in the sky;
Not an accidental feature,
But a blessing to you and I.
When I
gaze into the heavens
On a brilliant summer night,
With a full moon just arriving,
And a billion sparkling lights.
I think
men ought to look upward
For majestic, glowing, proof
That God, alone, could set this scene;
Find their Faith is safe and true!
Dear
friend, if ever you're doubtful
And your faith is ebbing low,
You feel God is so far away
And you'd really like to know,
Just look into His Heavens
For proof beyond compare.
In dazzling, glowing, beauty find His
signature in the air!
