Sunshine removes times of gloom,
as flowers break out in full bloom.
Trees now filled with green leaves,
afternoons pleasantly spent at ease.
Hear once more the birds
who sing,
enjoying again the beauty of spring.
Sunshine plentiful for people to see,
butterflies float by completely free.
Friends drop by to chat
for awhile,
stories shared brings about a smile.
Talks begin of where you vacation,
everyone filled with anticipation.
Waiting as the weekend
draws near,
aches and pains suddenly disappear.
Everyone's cares and worries are gone,
thoughts turn to mowing your lawn.
You soon realize the lawn
can wait,
time now for fishing, get some bait.
Find a good hat to keep out the sun,
Spring has arrived time for fun.
Laughter of children fills up
the air,
playing again without worry or care.
Families here for an overnight stay,
everyone is excited to just get away.
Outings for picnics or
to the beach,
baskets packed with food and treats.
A blanket to place upon the ground,
when just the perfect place is found.
Loving and laughing
times are spent,
leaving everyone completely content.
Each of the seasons bring every year,
memories to last and never disappear.
