Beyond the dark horizon

Lovely rays soon appear

Making each of us aware

A new day is here.

Sun rises with a glorious light

As we pray for hope and peace

And a much deeper faith in God

Our prayer is war will cease.

This time on earth is only a test

One we should never fail

Life full of values and growing faith

Changing hate to love will prevail.

As each new day begins again

At the rising of the sun

Let us live life to the fullest

Until our work is done.
